The Old Blue Water Navy ARCHIVE

THIS IS AN ARCHIVED SITE FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION AND ACCESS PURPOSES

All content is the Intellectual Property of John Rossie.
Please contact before linking or copying.

THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THIS WEBSITE IS TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION THAT WAS FORMERLY ON THE BLUE WATER NAVY WEBSITE. THIS INFORMATION WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL TO VETERANS FOR MANY YEARS ON MANY TOPICS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR VIETNAM VETERANS CONCERNED WITH AGENT ORANGE ISSUES AND FOR VETERANS WHO DID NOT HAVE BOOTS-ON-GROUND AND DID NOT SERVE ON THE INLAND WATERWAYS OF VIETNAM.

THIS SITE IS AN ARCHIVE OF THAT INFORMATION AND IS PRESENTED FOR PUBLIC USE AND VIEWING BY THE SOLE OWNER AND CREATER OF THAT ORIGINAL WEBSITE. IT IS AS IT WAS ON THE DAY IT WAS REMOVED FROM SERVICE BY THE NEW MANAGEMENT OF THE BLUE WATER NAVY VIETNAM VETERANS ASSOCIATION.

HOW TO USE THIS ARCHIVE WEBSITE

The URL of this archive website is oldbluewater.com. When the site was developed, however, the URL was bluewaternavy.org. That name has since been co-opted and nearly all internal links on this archive website now point to a location that is incorrect and totally irrelevant to this archive. Most internal links here are still coded to point to bluewaternavy.org…. and they will lead to DEAD ENDS and 404 errors.

There is a quick and easy, relatively simple fix for this problem that will point you to the correct link that was intended when this website was first created. Simply replace all the internal links that lead to a “bluewaternavy.org” address with “oldbluewater.com”. That wording should appear right in your browser address line. Leave all the associated subfolder/information just as written, and replace only those exact letters, being careful not to add any spaces or not to add or delete any characters. That should get you to the correct location within this archive website for the continuity and cohesion that was originally intended.

The “archive” portion of this website is exactly as it was originally created and there have been no additions made to the material within the archive portion.

The current active Website for The New Blue Water Navy Association is located at bluewaternavy.org or bwnvva.org. Be aware that the current "bluewaternavy.org" and it's host association is not at all connected with the original Blue Water Navy Association, and it's current goals and intentions have no alignment whatsoever with the original BWN Association as it was created in 2007 and existed through most of 2017.
